[Kakita Osatsu]

Kakita Osatsu looks out over the students who have chosen to attend the final session of his semi-official class...

"Well, tomorrow you take your first step into a larger world," he begins, "where the skills you have developed here will hopefully serve you and your clans well. Today, then, let us look both backward and forward for our inspiration. Let your work reflect how you see your time here, and what path you believe your future will take..."

It was right there. He could see it, a painting in all of its morning glory. The fires, the crane draped in shadow, the thousands of screams coming from - no. His hands could not yet put it into pictures. It almost begged to, prayed to, but it didn't.

That said, he did wonder about his future.

No one needed to see what he saw.

So in the end, he wrote

"Thank you for your guidance, Kakita-sensei."

It was no grand article, but it was personal, and it was art.

Tobi listened and then he stared. Not at anything in particular, at least not in this room. Then he started on the darker shades of paper and again started working on an origami sphere.

The Otomo seems a little quieter than usual, on the final day. A little muted. Focus usually shuts Akihime's mouth when it comes to calligraphy but this is something different.

Hm... well, it wasn't as if Kat had been here for the art lessons, but he was surprised to found he'd learned some things. Maybe it would come in handy in the future, maybe not; Art could be a powerful tool in the right situations, it was just up to whether his career as an "actor" took him to such places and times.

Regardless, he found himself folding origami, trying to remember some of what Tobi had shown him. In the end, he folded a rather respectable paper crane out of blue paper... and added a small red girl on top for good measure.

Tobi was rolling his dark sphere around while looking at the crane Kat had made. No blinking for once, just a happy smile.
